About

Who is behind roar?

// hi

I'm a Cloud Solutions Architect who has spent the last decade or so living inside Linux machines — installing, breaking, and fixing them. My days are mostly OpenShift, OpenStack and Kubernetes; my evenings are where this blog comes from.

// what I do

I design and operate hybrid cloud platforms for enterprises: OpenStack clouds, Red Hat OpenShift clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and the observability glue that holds it together. I'm a Red Hat Certified Architect, and I keep my Kubernetes credentials fresh (CKA, CKS, CKAD).

// why this blog exists

ROAR started in 2015 as a notebook: my results and findings from tinkering, plus reports from the OpenStack and Linux conferences I cover. It grew from Proxmox experiments and OpenStack guides to travel notes from KubeCon stops in Tokyo, Macau and Seoul — and it never really stopped.
